Our mission is to help Bristol build the homes that it needs to thrive
What is Bristol YIMBY?

Bristol YIMBY (Yes In My Back Yard) is a campaign for Bristol to build the homes that it needs to thrive. We want everyone in Bristol to have a decent home, regardless of their circumstances.

That involves saying 'yes' to building more quality homes and development that complements new homes, like workplaces, shops, transport links, walking and cycling routes and community facilities.

What are we doing to help?

Our aim is to give everyone a voice in the debate over how and where new homes and infrastructure should be built, particularly people in housing need that are often naturally excluded from having their say.

We've set up this website to provide a simple and easy-to-use resource for people to share and build support for ideas and proposals that help create great places for people to live, work, move and play in Bristol.

How can I get involved?

Anyone can add a development idea, pre-application proposal or planning application to our proposals map.

Once added, visitors to the Bristol YIMBY website can explore the interactive map, find proposals in their area, show their support for proposals they like and share proposals with friends, neighbours, family, colleagues and social media followers in a few clicks.
